@Wexit-Delecto Can I borrow your crystal ball? I’d love to predict the future without substantiating a thing.
" Our distinct values ... democracy; individual rights and freedoms, including freedom of religious belief and freedom to criticize religion; equality between men and women; the equal treatment of all citizens regardless of ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation; the rule of law; separation of state and religion; tolerance and pluralism; and loyalty to the wider society instead of to one’s clan or tribe."
Maybe muslims would be too illiberal for the PPC value system, all the blue-hair baristas would get in though.
Your Paris Accord take is wrong. Canada’s dualist, treaties need legislation, like the
Net-Zero Act.
Baker v. Canada (1999) lets courts peek at treaty values for context, not enforce them outright. W’re not “backdoor monists.” There are no mechanism for other measures to force us to confirm with Paris. That's just nonsense. If a judge pushes and can withdraw and gain political capital at the same time.
He was against it. If you can't even do a simple internet search, I really doubt the accuracy of your crystal ball. PP was against the mandate at every turn, well before the convoy.
PPC promises are hot air, they’re unelectable and not even trying. Seriousness demands details; a budget cut list could map CPC cuts or ammo to attack them, giving PPC some desperately needed credibility.
The PPC can't even managed to get a constitution, just $2.3M investment. They won’t spend or borrow to fight for a win. Vaccine mandates in 2019-’21 were their golden shot; they sat it out, inflating coffers. Greens spent $2.3M in 2019, I saw signs and flyers. PPC? Ghost town. Saving again?
Just 2 more
weeks elections, trust the plan!
You said we don’t have free trade with China, now CPC “gave it”? Comical flip. CETA/CPTPP don’t touch China; US calls the shots.
Glad you see libertarian rot as the right’s worst blow. Liberals, progressives, libertarians it’s the same liberal sludge sinking us. No “20 years ago conservatives” those fought gay marriage, abortion; lolbertarians coo “live and let live, consenting adults.” Libertarians core principal is liberalism and as such, it can't muster any philosophical attacks against the degeneracy (liberalism) of our time.
CPC won’t go illiberal either, I’m not deluded about it. When the West’s “far-right” flaunts lesbians, 100% rollback’s a pipe dream. Illiberalism’s creeping up, slow and steady; CPCs make that wait less grim.
A secular states are a failing compromise. Pick your liberal poison of choice.
