But despite purity spiraling, the left spends most of their time attacking CPC. PPC spends the wast majority of their time attacking CPC, and at the same time claiming that they're not "vote splitting".

How about a balanced budget? Has he promised to do one within ONE term? If not, guess what that means? (Last election they promised a balanced budget in ten years, that’s THREE terms lol)

How about “free” trade with China? When did Pierre ever mention ending it? Without that, “bring it home” is impossible!

Maybe you could start by listing even a single “c”onservative thing his party supports!

PP said two years ago that "he's not proposing to withdraw from the treaty." He has not committed to any CO2 reduction target.

Removing the Emergencies Act is not on the PPC platform either. In any case, removing it would be dumb. What's needed is harsher punishment for abusing it, automatic election, and a better more transparent inquiry when called upon.

PP has said they'll balance the budget "as soon as possible".

We don't have free trade with china to begin with.

Exploiting natural resources, increased military spending, harsher criminal sentencing, defunding the CBC, remove and ban federal vaccine mandate, removing C-11 & C-18, reversing the liberal gun bans, etc.

Linking immigration to housing numbers doesn't even mean reduced immigration. The news has been agitating for "wartime housing construction" so odds are good that's what we'll get: even more socialization of our economy to make even more immigration possible. If Pierre was going to cut immigration to the levels we need it to be cut to, he'd say so. The truth of it is that the fed don't have that many levers and means to accelerate housing. And yeah, even if they'd reach wartime housing, that'd be a 50% decrease from the last few years, so whatever predditors is meaningless.

I'll trust you that Bernier talked about islamization more recently than 6 years ago. In any case, once the housing crisis has cooled down, he wants between 100-150K. There will be muslims among them even with a tighten selection process. So you too are voting for someone that want to bring in more muslims. If you want to reduce it, convert them here and abroad.

I'll take 100-150k over "tying it to housing." We obviously need zero, and the closer we get to that, the better. I don't think many Muslims would make Maxime's cuts, since he has spoken many times about cultural compatibility with Canada. Pierre would never ever broach that topic because he fully intends to keep bringing in culturally incompatible third worlders. To the CPC, Canada is an economic zone, not a nation.

My point was that PPC's policy isn't some 10 commandments that has never changed.

Bernier voted for C-16, even though "leftist" Andrew Scheer voted no. Bernier also suddenly started speaking publicly against abortion, when he decided to run in Portage-Lisgar. The most PPC riding there is, and he couldn't even win that in a by-election. It wasn't even close.

Bernier is a career politician, and if you think he's going to actually do anything, I have a ski slope in Manitoba to sell to you.

So yes, while I wish for a moratorium, I understand that what I want to happen, and what will happen are two different things.
