My small family owned Hydrovac business was asked to provide vaccine info today

I told them a polite no.

We are not doctors, so we won’t tell our staff what to do. We won’t ask them to take medical procedures, and we won’t ask them for private medical information. This is immoral, and we won’t do it. Period.

Happy to do rapid tests for you though.

This shit needs to end. I choose freedom over money.

And I say this as a small business owner in Alberta. 6 years of loss. From 14 employees during the 2014 boom down to 4 employees now. But this will never end. Wife has first baby cooking, and I don’t want my child growing up this society. Change needs to happen. Fast.

My prayers to you and yours. You sound very upright and assured of your stance. The world may not appreciate this, but we sure do.

If me and mine ever decide to run away to Alberta... Maybe you will be hiring.

Was it a site foreman or something that asked? Like isn't the hydrovac guy just literally standing there shooting water and vacuuming mud up? Like noone is going to be even 6 feet within him? Ridiculous..

I wouldn't even do rapid tests.. just a waste of money.
