Probably means nothing as it relies on a unanimous EU vote, of which none of the have-not euro trash members (which comprises the majority of the EU) would never want another country sharing the cake without significant gibs. Add to that we can never join because Uncle Sam will squash that.

This whole EU alliance is just some fan fiction nonsense the Liberals use to feed TDS infected boomers.
 
The big selling point would be if Canadians are allowed to work in the EU. But they will want us to take bodies, too. I guess Europe is cool, but the young would earn more in the US and be closer to family.
 
Being able to work in the EU is mostly worthless. UK left the EU. Everywhere else has a different language than English as their primary language so you won't get hired for most jobs. Yet everyone in the EU speaks English so they'll have no problems getting jobs in Canada.

Freedom of labor movement with the EU is a trap. It's going to be terrible for Canadians.

That's really all it amounts to. Let's pretend to be in touch with our European roots just in time for a meat grinder.

Those roots will be consigned to the history books if anybody returns of course.

The only reason the EU would entertain this at all is because they are short on colonials to use as cannon fodder. The only reason Canadians would entertain this is to kill off their dissident young people.
