2. What name should I put on a ballot if I'm a candidate?
...her English name could alienate non-English-speaking voters.
“Sure, a lot more people do speak English, but a lot of people don’t..."

3. Wildfires are somehow racist and discriminatory
“Climate change and land-management decisions influence wildfire behaviour, while inequality, discrimination, and colonialism shape who is most exposed, who is most affected, and who has the greatest capacity to prepare for, respond to, and recover from wildfire,”
“Working from the understanding that we must coexist with wildfires, a human rights lens shifts attention toward how governance can better protect rights, reduce inequities, and support the capacities of those most impacted,” the report said.
“Governance should also draw on the deep expertise of Indigenous and local communities..."

It means poor fat useless fucking indians want more money from the Canadian government.

Hahaha. there’s a joke. Every time a white man calls a Status Indian moocher the AFN wants to fight the Métis. Like, what the fuck Chiefs.

We might be 5% of the population but we could sure fuck Canada up if we wanted to.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. "Human Rights" need to be abolished. In practice they're actually just Anti-White Rackets used to oppress White people.

@border_humper I dare you to go to a place that's not in BC or knows about Canada's insane retardedness and say you went to the school on your job resume and are literally going to write you back saying you're a fucking fraud and lying.

The bot were literally scan your resume and literally just reject you instantly when it reads that.

@DripDrop

Since time immemorial, two languages have been spoken by Host Nations of the SFU Burnaby campus:

- hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ is spoken by the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Peoples
- Sḵwx̱wú7mesh is spoken by the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Peoples

In order to represent both languages, each location has received two Indigenous names. Always use names in both languages, with hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ first and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh second separated by a slash. This order is appropriate because more SFU Burnaby campus Host Nations speak hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ (3) than Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (1).

First do no harm, unless it's politically correct harm, then it's mandatory.

Donald Trump-like decision
"Make sure the Chynaman has his Chyna name on the ballot. We love Chyna and our American Chynamen. They're great people, the best, we have the best Chynamen, better than even in Chyna. It's true. I hear it all the time "Mr. President, we love our Chynamen!" it's true."

I mean he probably asked Claude how he should campaign and Claude told him to just repeat Trump a lot.

This is the third public leader saying Trumps going to invade and it never happens. Ford went first then Carney now this guy how much more is this going to happen before Canadians figure out wait a minute they keep saying Trump is going to invade and he never does it and he only has two more years left in office.

Maybe we were fucking retarded for believing this shit and we need to start changing how we vote.

It's like retards in Canada. Forgot presidents are only around for 4 years and then they're gone and in this case Trump in 2 years will be gone for good.

@CaptainTrouble The dude may be dead in a few years or in jail if the Democrats have their way. The guy is going to retire, play golf and spend time with his grandkids.

Trump is the shittiest dictator I've ever seen. He caves to every single judge that rules against him and never pushes back. Biden and the Democrats. Told the supreme Court. Fuck off multiple times after ruling.

Some judge in bum fuck blue with a foreign name tells Trump he can't do something. He stops doing it till he appeals.

I kind of wish he was a dictator being he's on my side on some things. I have no doubt what the Democrats will do when they get back in power if they do.

@TOPDAWG that's the "irony" of it. The democrats are far more dictatorial than Trump. Carney is a bigger dictator than Trump.

The left, including my boomerents, knows this (deep down) but they're fine with it because to them it's all about doing "the right thing" at all costs. They only care about dictators when these people push values/beliefs they don't want but believe in dictators when those people push the values/beliefs they want. It's how the right should be as well.

Reeeee how can he call an election? We have fixed election dates and he already has a majority reeeeeee? Where are the RCMP o arrest this law breaker? Reeeee

What a waste of money as we had one not long ago but we all know politicians are opportunists...

Funny how fixed election date laws and yet second time in a row NDP have ignored that. Other politicians in Canada where so called fixed election dates are ignored.. Harper, Trudeau, Prentice, Higgs, Eby, Horgan, and maybe Carney..etc

Like what is the point of having so called fixed dates but not honoured??

@TOPDAWG Gumby aka lurch aka Ebay has only been in two years (and legally could go three more) and we are also having municipal elections too in October.. Municipal politicians are reeeeeing about this.

@TOPDAWG American politicians gerrymander their districts, Canadian politicians gerrymander timing of their elections. Honestly, Clownadians need to stfu about democracy. Nobody needs to hear about democracy from a country with an unelected majority.

How do you stand it, @ayn_rands_ghost? Do you ever feel like Lot living in such a degenerate cesspool?

↑View previous replies…
Yes. A third world degenerate cesspool. No politician has the balls to do what needs to happen to most of those people and that is involuntarily treatment for drugs. mental illness or both etc.

The largest port in the country and third largest on west coast is porous where hardly any containers are checked for drugs, guns, people etc.

Yet if they make it here do they even get charged (like with the huge one in Falkland) or light sentences because they are non White or so they do not get deported...

Back in the day when I was a kid it was mainly alcoholics and loads of Lysol, Chinese cooking oil bottles, large bottles of the cheapest wine available (it was some sort of red wine) and yes aftershave bottles then started seeing more and more on heroin, crack, fentanyl and gawd only knows what else... The area now they occupy is larger to now has area has expanded.

It does not help the fed libs and BC NDP enabled them from selling it and drug paraphernalia in vending machines but the paraphernalia was free, even in public schools they handed out kits, had vending machines with them at hospitals in BC too, I also think they get a lot of the drugs for free from gov too.

Look at all the resources they get courtesy of tax payers: Clean supervised place to shoot up including free new needles, all that naloxone, paramedic, doctors time, fuel used in Ambulances, shelters, housing and all the social services etc (some are just for injuns or trans or gay or whatever etc)

The big problem is the poverty industrial complex (A bunch of commies I think) that seem to get endless money. have political pull yet rarely show results. It is just a big scam and would not be surprised if money laundering either as this is CCCP infiltrated province.

According to grok, this is where the ruling comes from. So I just got to call myself an activist now and I can become a drug dealer? Like say I have a car load of it will I still be good or what? Or is this for smaller amounts?

@border_humper The judgment is insane. The fucking judge acted like the guys were caring cancer the way she spoke to them. About how good they were doing and how brave they were how they're doing great things.

My rights were removed because I refused to take a drug. Somehow these motherfuckers have rights because they take drugs that kill them.

I never want to hear Canadians say shit about how screwed up America is ever again.

I need to call my brother-in-law. He goes to Mexico and has family that lives there. Funny enough. He's a RV Tech too. I'm pretty sure I saw a TV show on this. I think me and him could make some money.

In a Sunday election pledge, B.C. NDP Leader David Eby proposed a new tax policy that would give his province one of the highest marginal tax rates on earth.

If implemented, the top marginal tax rate in B.C. would hit 57.5 per cent, meaning that 57.5 cents out of every dollar earned above a certain threshold in B.C. would be collected as tax.

It wouldn’t just make B.C. the highest tax jurisdiction in Canada, but it would place British Columbians in a higher tax bracket than even some of the most notoriously high tax corners of Europe.

According to the most recent figures from the OECD, top-earning British Columbians would be paying a higher tax on income than their well-paid peers in France (55.4 per cent), Japan (55.9 per cent), Sweden (52.4 per cent) and the U.K. (45 per cent).

In fact, they’d likely be paying more of their income in tax than any other jurisdiction save Denmark. Although Denmark’s top rate comes in at 55.9 per cent in OECD data, in practice, the Danish rate can rise as high as 60.5 per cent, according to a June analysis by PricewaterhouseCoopers.

B.C.’s top tax rate would also push well ahead of California, the single most high-tax jurisdiction in the United States. According to the U.S.-based Tax Foundation, Californians pay a top income tax rate of 13.3 per cent. Which, when combined with a federal top rate of 37 per cent, comes to 50.3.

The new tax rate was pitched by Eby on Sunday as a “millionaire’s tax,” as the new top rate of 24.5 per cent or more only applies to annual incomes of $1 million or more.
