I saw this comment elsewhere it it hit nice enough I wanted to share

The entire internet just kinda sucks now. Everything just became so shitty

Everyone decided it's a contest to be a cunt. And eventually that got old, and no one knows how to change gears. Being a wet blanket like the left on that fact isn't fun. But doing the tired game is losing its appeal too. Pretty fast at that.

So maybe a few of us should opt to not be cunts, but not because the left told us to. But because we realized on our own it's time to move on to the next activity.

There is more than one way to have fun on the internet. An unspoken consensus is forming that we're ready for the next thing. But we don't know how to organize it, get people on board, or really what we want to do next. But the cunt contest, we've already done it. We've already done it for a very very long time. Boring people are making the internet boring. Oh, you only know about politics and are angry all the time. I've been talking to you or someone like you for 10 years straight. Boring

Totally agree. After 10+ years of it, the whole politics thing is played out, totally fuckin' bored of it. After learning and really internalizing some concepts (Italian elite theory, evo psych, Spengler, Unwin, etc.) soon realized what a waste of time and one's life it is to bother with it; there's a reason why it's been all theater kids in politics for some number of decades now.

It's useful to understand as much to know what's coming and how to prepare for it, but past that, I don't want to hear about the next Reform/Restore/PPC/MAGA swamp-draining BS any more. Spending my time on figuring out what to do about a panopticon Canada that's less than 20% European.

I think the main issue with the internet now good or bad. It's become so damn monetized. Everyone's just posting clickbait rage bait so they can get X clicks and get money or get views on YouTube for money. You used to have a lot of people who just did this stuff. Posting on froums, making videos for the love of the game as it were. Now it's all about how much money I can get.

Also, now people are doing content for an algorithm so there's no originality and thought or originality in entertainment content online anymore.

I'll be honest, I like a place like this because the fact is there's not a ton of members here so there's no point to be here acting fake trying to get a bunch of likes and shit like they do on Reddit.

Also the big issue is the woke have taken over to fucking internet in many sites where it's not even enjoyable anymore. You can't talk about anything.

I mean I hate to say it with the laws passing in Canada. Let's be honest this sites days are numbered either it'll get shut down or one of us will go to jail for hate speech.

This is my point from above about us living in a digital panopticon - woke is a device used by the regime to get the population to police itself. They have thoroughly infiltrated the tech companies (per Dorsey and Zuckerbergstein re: 2024 US election; they have embedded feds). Woke is not something organic that rose within the populace, it was majorly boosted by the regime to allow them to continue pushing their neoliberal agenda of breaking down nations/families/religions to atomize people into interchangeable economic units.

Funny to see how quick the regime drops that shit when it no longer suits them - environment is another lever they use, did you see that post here recently on how the US is spending more on fossil fuel stuff than China now?

Most of the internet is fake. Bots outnumber human users by orders of magnitude, most being deployed by nefarious actors to further one psy-op or another. The entire information ecosystem is designed to confuse you, to disorient you with an endless flood of attention-grabbing nonsense, and to exhaust you mentally and spiritually. I'm not even sure the elites who think they're directing it are really in control of it anymore.

Dead internet theory is wrong: it's not dead. It's consumed all of human life and the human experience and taken on a life of its own.
