Eurovision has been around since before I was born and the songs have always been terrible (except perhaps for when Abba won back in the mid-70s). In recent years it's predictably become yet another globohomo vector with bearded trannies and conspicuously "diverse" acts, though it's now starting to come apart at the seams over the inclusion of Israel (another country that isn't in Europe)
Was going to note it would be us and Israel as the non-European entries in the bearded lady extravaganza.
