Well, looks like I’m out of the fight. Heading back to the U.S. I mean, it’s Virginia, which isn’t ideal, but at least I’ll have some basic rights there. It’s a landing spot, at least. It’s blue as hell, and the Democrats there are pretty extreme. Cost of housing and living is way to god damn high. Alberta is better, but what can you do? I’ll stay there for two years, and if it gets too dumb, I’ll jump to a different state. Now I’ve got to sell a house I own outright and take on about $400,000 USD in debt for a new one.

Damn it, Canada. Why did things have to go this way? Even if we got the UCP, it would have been better than what we have now. As much as I want Alberta to go on its own, we all know that vote, if it happens, will not pass. My guess is 20% to 30% would support it at best. Once that fails, look for the federal government to go all out on Alberta to put them in their place. I’d hope it would send a strong message, but I doubt that will even happen. They won't care they will just want to crush the non believers and put the Canadian traitors in jail.

Now lets see if anything stops me from leaving as I just give notice to my job today I was leaving. Now to see if my life gets 10 times worse or 10 times better but hey at least it's a change I guess.

What’s the point of having a paid-off house in Canada if they say the treaties are no longer active and that Indians own the land your house is on? That is the next step after BC to say they were forced to sign those treaties and the courts should make them no longer valid so they can get title on most of Canada. That is going to happen that talk should start in the next year or two.
 
They do not own shit. They are just given the responsibilities of the municipalities over to them which is being held up in court now.
 
I had to look up goyim. well at worst I will buy myself a few extra years of ok living. Canada I see going down the drain really god damn fast. Got 50 states to jump around in.
 
Be sure and keep notes on transition steps, I’ve got to do it all in the next couple years.
 
It was easier for me because my wife was able to fast-track it since I’m American. So that was our way in. The fact that she also has a $150,000 a year U.S. job waiting for her helps a lot.

The main issue is getting a mortgage if you need one, since your credit history doesn’t carry over from Canada to the U.S. That’s kind of frustrating. I’ll likely have to go with RBC, as they can use our Canadian credit history to help secure a mortgage in the U.S. Also, since she has a job waiting, that will help us qualify for a mortgage.

I’m American and that’s our way in, but we will have to figure out the mortgage/credit history piece, plus transporting Canada house sale proceeds to U.S. downpayment. I think @FreeJames used Norbert’s Gambit?
 
@border_humper if I remember right talking to wife wife I think the money from your house sale here would go into a trust to be moved. You obviously just can't put it in the bank and send it over as it would raise some flags really quick moving like 350,000 US cross your bank account.

My house should sell for 520, 000 to 530,000.

You can put money in RBC Canada and transfer it over to RBC US I have that all set up already. So my normal money in my bank account will just move over doing that.

I'll still keep my Canadian bank account with a couple grand to not pay fees when my wife comes back to visit her family.

Out of curiosity and feel free not to answer how old are you anyway? I'll be 47 by the time I get all this done. I'm pretty much starting over this late in life fuck. Not sure if this is a good play or I'm being retarded.

I mean part of me thinks I should just anchor down and just make the best of it in Canada since honestly here I got everything that makes people dislike Canada.

I got my house I'm not going to lie I don't have any money troubles I have no debt but honestly all that could be taken away tomorrow if the government feels like it cuz you have absolutely no rights.
 
@Thinker nah dems have tried for years to over rule it and lost unless they pack the supreme court that they said they would. Hell even most people who were fried during covid all got pay outs and their jobs back
 
@TOPDAWG We are middle aged, stuck here for now taking care of elderly relatives. Once that changes, will move to midwest where I’m from and continue to work until we retire. Spouse should be able to transfer to US arm of employer; I’ll have to find a new job, but looking forward to collecting social security as well as CPP in retirement.

@border_humper Yes that is exactly what I did. I sold my house, cars. Then I moved all my money into my trading account, where I did Norbet's gambit with DLR and DLR.U to convert to USD. Then I put it back in my big 5 bank USD account.

At that point I wired it all to USD bank account. It was a lot more than 350K USD btw - had 0 problems. I wasn't too worried because it was all above board. I could easily show where the money came from if I had to.

RBC was mentioned and they are good. Another good option is TD. They have US branches. You can have both Canadian and US bank accounts (they are separate) but they can be connected. So you can easily transfer USD between the Canadian and USD account right within the accounts.
 
@FreeJames I try for months to get TD to open a goddamn US account it was completely nightmare they open account I couldn't get in it then apparently the accounts still open and I still can't get in that God damn thing. Thank God I never put money in it.

So apparently I have a US TD account I cannot get into.

I got to say though their app is absolutely killer best bank app by far.

Something to remember: “The Takeover” is happening all across the western world, not just in Canada. So relatively speaking, moving to the USA might not always be the right move.
If you need to leave, find yourself a place to live where standards of living are better and where you can find your people. Anything less would be a downgrade.
 
True but in the US you do have some rights at least until someone packs the supreme Court that can't be infringed upon. Hell even most of the covid mandates were deemed unlawful in the US.

In Canada they could do lockdowns tomorrow if they feel like it just because.
 
I think both countries are going down the shitter. But the US is better off for now for a variety of reasons. Like Canada, the US has its own appalling demographic issues. But at least in the US there is freer speech and gun rights, so you can't be pulverized as easily as what happens in Canada.

For people who work for a living and therefore have health insurance, the US has much better care. Canada is better for unemployed folks or lazy bums who don't want to work hard or be self reliant. You might die waiting for your Healthcare in Canada, but you aren't being put in debt for hundreds of thousands in uninsured costs.

US has better weather and a variety of places to live. The reason so many Americans are ignorant on geography is because so many travel exclusively in the 50 states. It gives them everything they need. This is unlike living in Canada, where you may as well travel internationally when you consider cost and the lack of good Canadian destinations.

Financially US is better. You can live in a state without state income taxes. Taxes are much lower and houses are much cheaper. It's comical that my US house would cost me 2-3x in Canada.

So ya, the US has the edge. I've had a couple friends make the move. Almost all my other friends want to make the move. Literally I had a call from a friend this morning asking for advice on this very topic. Most people's biggest challenege is family. I get it, it's hard leaving people behind. What I do is spend a couple weeks every summer back in Canada.

As far as both countries going down the shitter, I really believe it. I debated the "stay and fight" thoughts but ultimately decided against it. I believe in critical mass. When a critical mass of people with European backgrounds are going to be on my side, great I will fight. But we aren't there yet. So many self hating whites support the jeet invasion and have no pride in their roots. I don't want to fight my own people. My thought is fuck them, let them go extinct inter-marrying. Or they can come back on board if they open their eyes. But I'm not going out of my way to fight for people who don't even deserve someone looking out for them. They are actually worse than the non-whites because they are traitors.

I told my wife when we moved to the US this is possibly a temporary reprieve from the jeet infested neighborhoods in the GTA, but it's not a lifetime gurantee. We might need to pack up and move to another part of the world if things get bad here too. My goal is to acquire as much wealth as possible so that if it comes to that, I have the resources to make it happen.
 
Holdin the line, love to move to states but they have troons with weapons and rocket scientists who shoot 5 year kids for fun. We have natives and jeets and if they give the land away the banks crash and housing becomes worthless thus bringing the whole shit house down. Besides im heavily invested into orvell rednbocker
