I thought the plan was to just say a bunch of regular spending counts towards defence.

Anybody who has ever done any hiring knows what over qualified looks like. With over qualification comes an agenda of their own every single fucking time.
 
So I read that article and it's only a "recommendation" made by an institute. And that's under the assumption that Canada will hit the 5% spending target for the military.

So fake headline from a fake news media. It should say report recommends Canada rais taxes to hit NATO spending goals.

@Squishybear well this is the thing Carney sucks so bad you don't need to fake headlines to make him look bad. It was the same thing for Biden you had talking heads on X who wanted to engagement for money literally editing clips of the guy and lying about what he was saying it's like you don't have to do that the guys already a fucking idiot.

I'm not going to change my morals on this it's bullshit with both sides do it. Kind of funny how CTV did that though cuz they need to clicks real bad.
 
Any new idea promoted in the mass media is a test to see how the public reacts to it in order to inform government policy in the future
