I'm having a hard time finding info on this I just saw like two posts about this and random places no idea if it's true. I can't remember where I saw that info just did a Google search and not much is coming up other than this.

There was never any doubt it would happen. Unless your one of the 4+

I'm not going to lie I'm shocked it made it. It's not like that stay bullshit where people were letting them on tour buses and everything else you damn well know people wasn't as welcoming to this group.

Also you still have a lot of people too scared to sign and you have people like I know who are old agree with it but have not signed.

They simply can't chase down a place to sign.

Those that are to scared to sign will be there referendum day. Its the only shot we get and people will be brave and get it done.

I met a lot of fearful people. Some i convinced to sign up but many want to wait to see if we clear the threshold and will go referendum day.

The silent majority will make sure to get it done.

Still has to be verified by the elections people? I’m sure they had to get way over actual number needed to be sure, because people will have signed fake names to sabotage.

When I signed they were very stringent to make sure you handed over your ID as they wrote in your address on the sheet and then you signed it.

I also mentioned I was American too when I was signing and the guy said wait a minute you're from Alberta right. So they were being pretty careful.

Didn’t they have to or decide to lower the amount of required signatures? From like 500k to 177k?

I don’t know that 3% of the population wanting independence in Alberta is as awe inspiring and comforting as some make it out to be. I mean neither is 12% mind you but oh well.

Now Alberta will get flooded by current and former politicians campaigning to vote against separation. Poilievre, Harper, ... I bet even Smith will campaign against it.

Smith is getting hammered on it already and now the media is saying she is pro Canada.

she has to be this way for this to work and we all know it

they the media also are big mad that there are separatists in her party and want them kicked out. she isnt going to kick them out and supports the diverse views
