Just keep all the old ones on DVD and a few different hard drives (NOT CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET OR A WINDOWS MACHINE OR A NETWORK WITH A WINDOWS MACHINE. In fact you might not want it connected to a computer with a new Intel processor or MOBO either. I know, sounds paranoid but they have the tech to detect media on your device and delete it without your permission. It has been used for CP before and it will be used to delete your wrong think media like original LOTR).
I have a feeling that Hollywood's final move will be to completely scrub all traces of all the old media they destroyed with new media. They're waiting for everyone to rely on streaming then they'll cut all streaming to the old stuff and make it unavailable to buy on grounds of "offensive".
