Last Chance – Bill C-9 Third Reading Vote Tomorrow! Today Wednesday 25 March 2026.
Yesterday, Bill C-9 cleared a major hurdle during the "report stage" vote in the House of Commons. It is now speeding toward final passage.
During that vote, Liberal and Bloc Québécois MPs ganged up to approve a devastating amendment that removes the long-standing "religious text defense" from the Criminal Code of Canada.
The vote was 188 Yeas to 144 Nays.
Only Conservatives, Greens, and NDP MPs stood against this anti-Christian motion.
This confirms that the Mark Carney Liberals want to see Christians prosecuted and imprisoned for simply professing their religious beliefs in public—quoting Bible passages that Liberals deem "offensive" could soon be treated as hate speech.
We now have one final window of opportunity to stop C-9 in the House of Commons: the third reading vote is expectedtomorrow (Wednesday).
