I actually think the Iran war is showcasing why diversified energy sources is best. Instead of reliant on 1 commodity, we should diversify.
Canada's power production should diversify and we should incorporate coal, natural gas, oil, solar, wind and nuclear.
Interesting to note, without government regulations nuclear is currently the cheapest form of energy but with government regulations it's the most expensive.
Coal units restarted to curb electricity costs
