Are you really asking that? It simply doesn't happen you'll see notes on hospital doors that they must give you aid regardless whether you can pay or not.

You can literally walk into a hospital because you're hurt or need help and say I'm not going to pay you shit and they still have to help you.
 
I busted my collarbone dirtbiking in the states on a trip years ago, and went to the local hospital in rural Idaho. I had the same look on my face as Yeltsin above when all was said and done. I was astonished at how empty, clean, quick and efficient it was. Yes it would have been 4K for the visit (if I hadn't had insurance), but I was in, out and medicated all within 1-1.5 hours.

You'd be lucky to have your name called by the triage nurse at most hospitals in that time in Canada, not to mention sitting in the waiting room full of jeets and stoned injuns.
