It will take time for the smoke to clear and things to settle

How the next while goes is anyones guess but i think prayimg for the freedom fighters who lost their lives is in order

Anyone else old enough to remember when the original Ayatollah of the similar name (Khomeini) died back in 1989? During his funeral procession there was such a frenzy among the faithful that his coffin was toppled and burst open, and Khomeini's naked body spilled onto the ground. A tabloid newspaper (I think it was the New York Post) reported on it with the headline "Ayatollah Bites the Dust".

Come to think of it, going back another decade I can remember the Shah being alive (though he was dying from cancer) and exiled to France after the Revolution. I was only a little kid but even then I was strangely interested in world events
