I dont get it. China is a threat to Nato yet all the countries in Europe many Nato countries are begging China to help them. Shouldnt Nato countries divest from China not enable their enemies?

Look at Canada for instance. We cant have a relationship with the USA but we can have one with the country that Nato is very worried about. Infact we will enable them to become even more powerful. Make this make sense

If you take a look at the countries which are sceptical towards China Belt and Road initiative and don't want anything to do with it, then you will see countries like France, the UK, the Scandinavian countries, even Germany. Those who are begging for Chinese money are led by populists. Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic ...
