In Alberta as good as things are for some it is clear that things are not as good for others.

At Christmas i went to get a few things at the west end Toys R Us in Edmonton and there was nothing left other then the weird HMV they had installed in the last few years. Picked up a few dvd box sets and movies to archive offline and then said good bye. I have used that store for all my nieces toys and all my nephews toys as well as my kids so its kinda sad to see it go.

Anyone know why they are closing. I talked to a person who was not a manager but seemed higher up and they said theft was a factor when i asked but said it wasnt the primary cause. They didnt have a lot of time to discuss the closure. If theft wasnt the primary factor what do u feel it was?

They are closing 50 stores in Canada.

Seems to be a trend and not a good one. What gives? Economy and to high of wages? Theft. All of the above?

Very rarely. Usually I use it for stuff like a new TV or some computer stuff. What she does is to search Facebook for barn or garage sales, flea markets and similar stuff. Or trying to find "antic" stuff on Kijiji.

Why go to a store and deal with the stinking masses when you can just have a pajeet in an amazon van drop it at your front door?

Indeed. Was at the mall again as the youngest wanted a game and i didnt want to pay full price and the gamestop had it for reasonable. I wish i paid full price after the whole experience and stood home had it delivered. Cashier was a damn tranny and was working with this female coworker talking about its feminine problems the female looked like she was gonna quit.
