Love Trump or hate em gas is going to .25 cents a liter. Well maybe not that low but wouldnt that be great if it did? I have a dream.

We all know gas wont go that cheap cause of provincial fuel tax. Government needs to get out of the way.

Your dream would be the end of the oil industry in Alberta.

@RightOfSask We did just fine back in the day when gas was less then 40 cents and a barrel of oil was 25 bucks. Dont see your point

Time for costs to come back down to reality and embrace a tariff based economy tied to the gold standard as well. No more printing money use the dollars or alt currency to the fiat.

Time for Alberta to become the winter Dubai.

@RightOfSask we had a pandemic with a lockdown and that never happened

What i am saying is a return to sound money. No more dollars adding to the dollar supply and a return to sound money.

AS silver rises as well as other commodities and the USA leaving the central bank system cost will decrease.

What people made in oil back when it was 25 a barrel is the same as they do now just the money supply keeps growing via inflation.

Alberta would be fine at 25 a barrel again as these pieces of the puzzle fall in line. The overhead for all would be greatly reduced and affordability would return

Didn't silver lose 10% today?

Also go ask some people working in the oil sands and all of them will tell you that once oil price for WCS is under $40, companies will start letting people go. Furthermore this is what happens with a oil price around $40, Ike currently.
$6.4 billion deficit. Alberta is as good with finances as the Libs.

No one cares about hat shit. Not here and not in the US (which is even outspending Canada on a per capita basis).
