Our Dystopia or My Trip to Walmart Today

I went to Walmart today. I usually seem to go before the holidays. I had come for one very specific item which the internet told me could be found at Walmart, Coco Lopez cream of coconut. The last two years when I went, it seemed scarily empty. Not today.

Today it was jam packed with the League of Nations and boomers. All of them completely oblivious to anyone else around them. Stopping in the middle of aisles to get on their phones. Nothing stocked, shelves looking like they’d been looted. Black and Brown employees leaning checking their phones. Groups of jeets jesting and laughing in durga. I asked a white dude where the drink mixers were, he in a thick Ukrainian accent asked the jeet next to him, who patiently explained to me that Walmart doesn’t sell alcohol.

The shortest checkout line had eight people ahead of me. When I finally got to the checkout pajeeta, she asked me how I was doing. I said ‘fine, how are you?’ like the polite Canadian I am, despite the hellish last hour spent wandering in the store. “How do you think?!” was her response. I thought of a couple snarky responses, like ‘bet this makes you miss the calm of Amritsar’ but instead said nothing.

I realize no sane person ventures out to Walmart the Sunday before Christmas amongst the great unwashed and I know better. What a schmozzle. But damn it, we’re going to have pina coladas on Christmas Eve.

I went out last year and the Walmart legitimately looked looted. Instead of restocking the shelves there was just boxes of product open on the floor in front of the empty shelf and people were rummaging through them. I grabbed a toy car I needed for my nephew and I got the hell out of there.
I'm a bit curious to see if it's that bad again. I might swing by tomorrow. Having 10 tills and only two open really kills it for me. Although I get to joke around with the boomers in line and shit talk the self checkouts.

Stopped going to walmart for anything when they first went all self checkout. Last time I went was a number of years ago after work, intended to spend maybe $300ish on food, spent the time filling up a shopping cart. Was making my we to a cashier when I realized they don't have any cashiers only self checkout, I just abandoned the whole damn cart full of food and left the store. Between that and overzealous mask loving min wage employees during lockdowns I can't bring myself to give them money. Horrible company.

I stopped by the local Walmart this afternoon to pick up a couple of last-minute Christmas items and was pleased to see that the staff was getting whiter again, probably because the number of international students in my area has been sharply reduced recently -- there were a couple of jeets around but everyone else working there was Canadian, as were 97% of the shoppers.

It's still somewhat of an ordeal to shop there though because of the hellishly bright lights (I'm like Chuck McGill from "Better Call Saul" when it comes to that stuff), plus the whole place was overrun with the usual oblivious types careening their shopping carts around the corners of the aisles like they were auditioning for "The Fast and the Furious". But on the whole it was a perfectly adequate experience, 7.5/10. (The self-checkout this time didn't even feature the camera that shows me my horribly aging face on the monitor, so that was a nice bonus)

Active mall nearest me is filled with Africans. This mall doesnt even look like anyone from Canada shops there. Security guards also from Africa are everywhere almost 1 per every 3 stores. Screaming and shouting can be heard constantly as guards remove homeless, the mentally ill, and anyone caught stealing. My favorite is when the security guards say to the person you are banned from the mall but you know the person they are arresting jist comes and goes as they please.

Walmart is attached to this horrid mall. It too is filled with Africans and homeless. It is dirty unkept and none of the staff look at you. Because of the shootings and stabbings there is an actual police unit that sits just outside. Place is pure hell and i simply move quickly and efficiently to get what i need and go. Zero christmas shopping just food stuff.

Honestly i am not an Amazon fan but wife and I get what we need and its delivered right to my door. Guard Beagle does her best to keep an eye out on he packages and alert us to potential package thieves until i wrestle the packages from the snow or the wife does. May God continue to bless my Guard Beagle and keep her senses as well as keep her healthy and well.

Maybe one day things will change but for now things in Edmonton in regards to shopping in public arent good.

Maybe its better on the out skirts of the city but centrally i wouldnt bother unless you are an African or Arab

In short i feel your pain. Walmart is lost and small shops dont exist no more. Times sure have changed since the flood of mmmmgrants. Not for the better

Coco Lopez cream of coconut.
I had to look it up, never heard of it. It looks like It's sweetened coconut cream.

My wife has a favorite Coconut cream, we use it quite a bit for cooking. If you are big into coconut cream you should try this.

It's not sweet, but you can sweeten it to your taste. It's very thick and pretty tasty.

Yeah, Wal-Mart used to be a fun/relaxing place to shop. Pre-Invasion. Now it's a multicultural hellscape.

I just do Amazon. Easy returns. A jeet slave delivers it to my door.

I've tried buying "Canadian" then I realized I probably prefer the China man product because its actually made by Chinese people rather than some Indian TFWs in Canada.

i learned something new today and something very clever from the jeets. Today I discovered that Canada makes something and a bunch of somethings from a place called Surrey BC. Who lives in Surrey BC??? What people group is messing up the place lately and all need to go back to their motherland? The answer is the Jeets.

Made in Surrey BC = India and made by Indians. Needless to say I put it back and laughed as in some ways the Jeets have found away to scam the Liberals and Normies right here in Canada under their noses
