Wife has Amazon prime and i cant watch the movies on it as they have ads and the ads make me gag. How are others tolerating this crap?

Is there a based streaming service out there? If not a talented person should make a streaming service simply called BASED. I would subscribe even if it cost more as long as the movies were based and free of woke

If you do want ads, LiveTV is still an option with Kodi. It can also be configured as an IPTV box with guide for free.
PPV Sports, On Demand, Youtube, Netflix, Adult Content, Custom streams, Cast from device, Tune-in Radio, CCTV access, Image viewer, HDMI CEC, Built-in media Server, Web and mobile interface... I can even watch Twitter videos! It pretty much does everything.
And everyone can set up their own personal login profile, with included child lock options for adult videos.

I've been using this for almost 20 years. Haven't paid a penny yet. I laugh at all the subscription people.
