Shannon's excuse was recovery from surgery she had to reschedule due to the spring election. The irony is she scheduled it at a time when it would be predictable to have to worry about this very vote while also moving it for her own gain. She makes $203k + benefits and her decision to do the surgery now is going to leave folks lamenting at the grocery store.
