hey @DripDrop, were you there?

A CBC-hosted event intended to address a growing extortion crisis descended into chaos Thursday night, with furious audience members yelling “shame on you” at police, politicians, and the public broadcaster’s own representatives.

I knew exactly what I'd hear before playing that video. Disgusting jeet babble.
Worthless scum blaming everyone except themselves.

Still not as bad as the smug faggots grinning while selling out their city.

Deeper details from Surrey's local newspaper

Several members of the public and journalists in the audience asked the panellists and various other politicians in attendance questions related to how they were addressing the extortion crisis.
The answers from police and politicians were often the same: Work is being done to tackle the crisis, but it takes time, and we understand the public’s fear and frustration.
Nothing at all about the ruckus. Apparently is was a calm and cordial public hall.

Funny that it was just Jeets yelling. They were probably in on the extortion ring. Just like in Edmonton and other cities.

A friend of mine was extorted by Jeets in Edmonton. He woke up at 3AM to his house on fire. He had to evacuate his wife and children in the middle of the night and watch his home burn. They tried to kill him and his whole family.

that makes me so mad to learn about. I pray your friend gets seven fold more then what he lost. At least he has his family. All we have is family and health. to me nothing else matters and is a bonus.

We need to get to the point where people are not scared to speak up because you may be called a bigot or racist.

I do believe that moment is arriving very soon. I come across many people who feel the same way.
