Clownada The federal deficit is 78 billion.

I literally watched the lib minister say it was 480 billion in just investments. Where tf are people getting 78.1 billion from? What about the 115 billion he also mentioned? Were talking about a 600 billion budget

$1.5 billion per week.

The income tax we pay, the gst, bullshit duty, tariffs and fees, that all needs to be $1.5 billion more PER WEEK just to break even.

Canada’s total federal debt is forecast to rise from $1.35 trillion in 2025–26 to $1.59 trillion by 2029–30

What the fuck?

Spend like no tomorrow. It will never ever be paid off. Add in provincial debts...... We will have a million dollar bill like Zimbabwe and maybe get a loaf of bread for it....

Taxpayers are killed with excessive taxes already. How soon before they want more? I think most western countries are in same mess and how soon before it all collapses? When it does it will make 1929 look like a party...

If native Canadians are being told we'll need to make sacrifices and downgrade our already eroding lifestyles, does it not seem counter-intuitive to continue bringing in 'refugees'?
I'm just a silly ol' pleb who don't know nothin' 'bout nothin', so I can't square that circle. Which is why I'm so thankful we have people able to make these decisions that make no sense to me. Because surely they have the best interests of us Canadians at heart.
I'd be liable to make some gosh darned goofy plans, such as the complete opposite of everything they're doing. Silly me.

Deficits in the high tens of billions are just normal now apparently. What a disaster. Most of the things this debt will go towards will not yield anything of lasting value.

This is just the beginning of the debt spiral. I am compelled to warn you, get your fucking debts paid off as soon as possible, especially your mortgage. It will be your only defense against coming hyper inflation. I'd say you have 3 to 4 years to do this.

Having hundreds of thousands in debt is not normal and definitely not historically normal yet most millennials and even Gen x ers are up to their eyeballs in it and will stay that way because they have their heads in the sand about our situation.

You have a narrowing opportunity to get out ahead of this disaster if you havent started trying.
