Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are appealing for witnesses and seeking suspects following an attempted carjacking in the City of Richmond Hill.
On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at approximately 11:45 p.m., the victim was driving his Porsche Panamera in the area of Hunters Point and Tiffany Gate. As the victim came to the intersection a suspect vehicle, a white sport utility vehicle, pulled up behind him. Two suspects exited the vehicle and a third walked out in front of the victim’s vehicle from a nearby foot path. The suspects attempted to gain entrance into the Porsche and threatened the victim with a firearm.
The victim drove away and contacted police.
All three males are described as Black males. They were seen wearing face coverings.
