I am a God fearing man and i believe in the fact he doesnt make mistakes. To mortal men and women it might appear he does but in my short time on this earth i have learned that this is not the case. He sure likes to test us for science or something however. Well not for science but to see if your gonna fit in when he calls you home is more accurate in my opinion.

I will die as I am supposed to not because of man. I wont be afraid and i want to experience it all right to my last breath. People need to trust God more then man. The fact people decide to let doctors take them out of this life and dont even try to seek God or his healing power before getting MAID is beyond me. Trust God over man for the devil is crafty and uses man to remove his enemies those made in the image if God. Where do those that seek MAID in the life after this go? I sure hope its heaven but i dont know given the devil seems to have his hands all over MAID and he is more interested in destroying people entirely body and soul if he can.

Surely it's God who decides (for His own unfathomable reasons) to give people painful terminal diseases in the first place?
 
The harsh truth is that we are instruments of God not the other way around. If you get terminal disease that how life is some times.
 
@Thinker: I don't know if just saying "it is what it is" amounts to an actual explanation of anything, but at any rate I was pointing out that if you get terminal cancer then it's futile to appeal to "God's healing power" because God was the one who made that decision to begin with

Yes, essentially that what it is at least according to Church's doctrine. Praying for disease to go away or to win the lottery is inherently equivalent to masturbation as in the pleasure of the self.
 
@ChevChelios If you consider the Old Testament to be the word of God (As Jesus did, at least according to the scriptures) then disease and death were consequences of man's original sin in the Garden of Eden. That's my understanding at least.
 
@brutana_dilewski: Even if you were to claim that (for example) a man being eaten alive by a great white shark was on account of his "sinfulness" -- and there isn't any evidence for that -- you'd still have to explain why the shark was created by God in the first place
 
@ChevChelios I have had those thoughts as well.

I have no way to prove anything, but it's quite possible that Earth is the fallen world and the 'Garden of Eden' is some other world entirely. I guess we will find out what happens soon enough.

I would not say he would died because of "sinfulness" due to shark eating him. Sin is related from unnatural order of ends. You could say it was God's will which in itself is hotly debated as your assuming what's Gods will is specially example like this.

Yes, pleasure of self should be avoided if it involves inherent selfishness over others. This does not mean you invite foreigner into your own home. You can still feel happiness or content.

@ChevChelios its an interesting debate. It is my opinion that if one steps away from Gods protection via sin then they open the door for all sorts of things we do not as mere mortals understand. If you read the bible many times God says do this or that and if you do as i have commanded I will protect you from these common diseases. If the opposite be true then by disobeying God will you get these diseases or no protection from these diseases / other? Does Gods word or covenants die?

Sin = disobedience
Sin = destruction
Sin = death

You can only serve 1 master

Obedience to God = life and Gods protection

We all know how hard it is to be obedient to God. It shouldnt be but it is and how odd is it that it is so hard? What is the potential consequence of falling away from what God has asked us to do. Are people destroyed or at great risk to their mortal self for lack of knowledge?

I have noted that many that live into their 100s all have one thing in common in Canada and the USA. The media likes to cover this up but if you look deep enough you will find the evidence that is the cause of their long lives and that is their relationship with the living word and the fact they lived a Godly and good life. There is always a bible in the story somewhere and the fact they read it often if not daily. In the bible they gained the knowledge to keep them from harm and to live upright and in good standing with God. Did God reward them with a long and blessed life because of their determination to understand God and his word and then leaned unto the word of God and not their own understanding? Did God prospered them? Can a man or women shorten their lives by not following Gods laws and word?

God gave us life to live it abundantly and with out sickness or death i.e to live forever in his kingdom. The bible is clear on this. His enemy however does not want you to have a good life and seeks to kill and destroy not just the body but the soul as well.

I suspect the cause of peoples suffering isnt because of God it is from the absence of God or rejection of God and what is written in the Bible

@brutana_dilewski have you read the book of Adam and Eve?

In it you will learn what earth really is. I dont wish to spoil it for you but i feel the book written by Moses is very specific and once you understand this and some events it makes things much more clear in my opinion as to what this place truely is and how to over come this place.

Perhaps if the lethal shot were to be administered by pretty young women wearing French maid uniforms it'd be even more popular? And you could throw in a plate of chicken wings beforehand, like at Hooters
