JUST IN: Ontario Premier Doug Ford Caves, Pulls Anti-Tariff Ad Campaign After Trump Ends Trade Negotiations with Canada

  • Ontario Premier Doug Ford caved less that 24 hours after President Trump ended trade negotiations with Canada over an anti-tariff ad campaign.
  • President Trump late Thursday evening announced all trade negotiations with Canada have been terminated after the government of Ontario, Canada, created an ad campaign using selective audio of President Reagan speaking negatively about tariffs.
  • Trump accused the government of Ontario of interfering with the Supreme Court’s decision on his tariffs. The high court is set to hear oral arguments on November 5 on Trump’s tariffs after a lower court ruled they were illegal.

Trump signs trade, critical mineral agreements with Asian countries

  • Trump arrived in Malaysia, where he is attending the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and oversaw a peace agreement signing between Cambodia and Thailand. Following that signing, Trump inked trade agreements with Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia.
  • President Trump on Sunday signed a flurry of trade agreements and deals outlining cooperation on critical minerals with key Asian partners as he kicked off his trip to Asia.
  • In addition to the trade deals, the U.S. signed agreements with all three countries outlining cooperation on the processing and exports of critical minerals, which are used in electronics and day-to-day products. Access to critical minerals has re-entered the spotlight after China earlier this month said it was tightening control on exports of the materials.

  • As part of the agreements, the U.S. would leave in place a 19 percent tariff on imports from all three countries. Cambodia said it would drop tariff barriers on all U.S. goods, while a memorandum of understanding with Thailand said the country would eliminate tariff barriers on 99 percent of American products.

Much like with our own dishonest, self-interrsted, corrupt Communist government, a trade deal with China will only last until the Chinese start openly violating it, obstructing or circumventing provisions and enacting protectionist measures without calling them what they are, all the while stealing intellectual property from their trading partners.. That's what they've done with every other deal they've struck with the US, and with us and every other country. And our own government has repeatedly done exactly the same thing to the US, which is the real reason Trump is so pissed off.
 
There is literally no failure too great for liberals to mental gymnastics themselves into taking as a victory. Ya sure we may have lost 50 000 jobs but take a good look at how many people hate Trump on this CNN poll!

Every other country on earth could get a deal done with the US and the Canadian liberal would say it is only because we had the most integrity.

Never wrong and always righteous must be a hell of a way to go through life.
