This article you posted seems to line up with this marine marksman's analysis, which indicates it was likely a smaller round as well. The entry and exit wount are consistent with something smaller than a .30 cal round.
He also notes there's nothing 200 yards away that the shooter could have shot from as the roof is about 80m away in the direction the shot seems to have come from. He also explains the shirt movement by demonstrating the use of an earpiece and mic around his neck moving from the shockwave.

The problem is that the video you posted suggested Charlie was shot from the right and the guy in the OP was standing to Charlie's left. However, watching this video the youtuber coincidently shows the frames with the OP guy in it. There's something odd going on with the brownshirt guy for sure. If you watch it frame by frame (around 14:00 mark), you'll see his right hand clearly have an opening between the middle and ring finger. It's not a reflection. No one holds their hand like this comfortably. Even the way the guy is resting his left-arm looks a little off. It appears as if he's using his left arm to steady his right hand while his right hand grasps something that is potentially protruding from between the ring and middle finger. It does look a lot like what the OP is suggesting.
Now, the video you linked suggests the neck is an exit wound but he suggests that based on the size alone which isn't actually enough info without knowing the bullet. He pulls up a chart where he concludes based on the chart it was probably a 9mm based on the exit wound size. Well, I pulled up a youtube video of a guy testing a .32 rimfire which is the bullet suggested given the palm firing weapon. The size of the entry wound of a .32 rimfire is similar to the exit wound of a 9mm (possibly actually bigger and appears to align with Charlie's neck wound as an entry wound of a .32 rimfire rather than an exit wound).
However, that's as far as the conspiracy goes. The brown shirt guy could have easily have been holding onto a vape for all we know. Charlie's body movement (ragdoll effect) and the way his neck moves directly after the shot all appear to line-up with being shot head-on. The bullet/rifle they suggest took that shot would have a similarly sized entry hole as what was seen on Kirk's neck. Also, ironically the guy in this video you posted talks about how you can see the reflection of a muzzle flash on a window but doesn't explain how a shot supposedly from the right of Charlie could reflect off a window pointed to the left of Charlie. That's now how reflection's work. The shot would have had to come from the front-left for the muzzle flash reflection to show. He suggests given the timing of when Kirk was hit and the muzzle flash reflect, the shot would have had to come from 200 yards which is what we're told the shot came from. This muzzle flash would disprove the close-up OP brownshirt theory also. The second video guy says it must not have been a muzzle flash then because he has to discount it for it to work for his came from the right-shot idea.

There's a lot of muddying of the waters on this with ridiculous theories. The official story seems really suspicious as well. Wrapped up perfectly so both sides are fighting over the big distraction of trans issues.
If I remove all the fog, I see a man who was successfully navigating the young minds of the country away from communism and towards Christian nationalism. The communists have been indoctrinating young minds in universities for nearly 100 years. It is one of the most important things to their plans. Charlie knew this. This hijacking obviously could not stand. Something had to be done.

I don't care how professional this alleged assassin is, I can't think of anything less accurate than a 22 short fired from a palm gun held at waist level. The effective range quoted in the article is up to 15 feet and anyone would have a hard time hitting a target 15 feet in diameter at that distance. I'm not saying I believe everything we're being told, but a deranged furry-tranny-lover shooting from a rooftop is much, much more believable than this particular theory. If this was some evil plot by the tiny hat people, they just made the movement even stronger by martyring a great man. This isn't going to silence TPUSA or any other conservative voice out there, it only adds fuel to the fire.

I understand that, but if they're as conniving as they're portrayed they must be aware that they'd be under suspicion, no? The whole world already hates them, especially liberal college students. I don't think they actually had anything to gain by having a hand in this. Just my thoughts though.

it's a solid theory - many of the younger generation see through this nonsense. My guess is Charlie was approached and possibly bribed/threatened and when that didn't work, they made good on their promises.

Sure, they know they're under suspicions, but they are arrogant, they believe that they can, one, use his organization to still steer many youth without him, and two, they believe that they can still scream "Antisemitism!" and most people will fall into line. Kirk was falling out of line, he was threatened before his assassination and didn't react as they wanted so capping him was probably, they thought, in their best interests. And I think the tribe isn't interested in Liberal college students when working with TPUSA, they want the next generation of Christian Zionists.
