My opinion is basically this. The full weight of the law is going to be thrown at you pretty well regardless of the circumstances should you have to defend yourself.

Do as much damage to your enemy as you possibly can since the book will be thrown anyways you have an obligation to get your pound of flesh.

Arm yourselves, train yourselves and train the rest of your family. Loyalty to blood and family long before loyalty to law or country.

Had that been my little girl the second I get her home we are going to get better weapons.
 
Since you can be busted for just having a knife I would recommend a bottle of lighter fluid and a very reliable lighter. They can be explained away in any court and nothing cools the ardour of a rapist like being on fire.

Between all of the taxes an individual pays to the government in a year, the total lack of protection it provides you as well as the legal headache for self defense. I think you could get better protection from the Mafia for that kind of money and they may actually protect you so long as you pay.

It's annoying when people pull up Reddit garbage and then argue for or against it on social media for likes. They're doing more harm than good.
The entire purpose of Reddit has become nothing more than pretend "organic" narrative forming with bots. When quoting Reddit, people are essentially spreading that narrative. Even if they're arguing against it, they're still spreading it.

The best thing to do is to completely ignore Reddit. It's the BuzzFeed of social media. Even worse, if that's possible.
