Seems like the simpler solution would be to just halt the WNBA entirely. Not like it would be missed.
 
As ridiculous as the pretensions of female athletes may be, the dildo-throwing phenomenon is the product both of a contempt for women and of a hypersexualized culture
 
The dildo throwing is contemptuous, but it’s a reaction to ‘pay us what we’re worth’ which shows ingratitude to the fans they do have. Most women in pro sports don’t make what men do because they don’t have the audience. The green dildos are an attempt by fans to help these professional athletes wake up to reality.
 
You'd think the best way to show the athletes that they are being unreasonable would be just not to go to the games. Buying tickets and tossing seems like a lot of effort just to say stop asking for higher pay, I think Chev is right about the dildo tossers. But I agree with you about the pay, when you pull audiences like the NBA, NHL, MLB then you will be paid like them, it's simple economics.

Pretty sure a meme coin group came already out and claimed to pay people to throw the dildos.

Also the WNBA players don't even demand the same pay as their male counterparts. They just demand the same revenue share agreement. Speak they want the same percentage of the revenue the WNBA generates as the men get from the NBA.
