I should point out that I (and some others here on FCW) warned that this would be the inevitable outcome of requiring ID to access porn sites, as the Canadian Tories proposed a couple of years ago. A couple of posters here claimed that anyone opposing the ID must be some kind of degenerate sex addict -- this is a good example of how governments manipulate right-wing as well as left-wing people into going along with totalitarianism. It starts with porn sites, then expands to any mainstream website capable of hosting porn (Reddit, X, Facebook etc.), any informative website with potentially offensive written content (Wikipedia), any site offering "far-right" views that may "radicalize" children, and so on. The EU have been proposing a unique personal ID number to access anything online for at least the past ten years
