If anyone here is living in this riding, I'm interested in obtaining a ballot from this by-election. You can never have enough toilet paper.

This is one of the reasons why I think that politics is largely scripted rather than wholly scripted -- while the overall purpose of the Tories seems to be to preserve the illusion that we live in a democracy and (on the rare occasions that they're elected) to run Liberal policies in slow-motion, there is still a sizeable chunk of the electorate who are brainwashed enough to believe that the CPC is a precursor to the Fourth Reich and who will move heaven and earth to stop them from winning any seats

You should just be given a blank piece of paper when voting.

At the very least, you must know the name of (and know how to spell) the person you're voting for. Otherwise, your vote doesn't count.

In an honest electoral system, this would weed out ballot harvesting and low information voting.
