And what are these policies? There have been more farm bankruptcies in the first quarter of 2025 (under Trump) than in the whole year of 2024 (under Biden).
 
Usaid dollars were used in a lot of cases to use lawfair on farmers. California is ripe with these types of cases. Very sad.

Will farmers in the end get their land back we shall see.

I don't think anyone knows what Carney is doing yet. No budget, no actual commitment to projects. He has just been a lot of talk so far. He could be sending Canada's tax dollars directly to his offshore bank account for all we know.
 
He suddenly is saying there isnt anything he can do abiut USA tariffs now. 35% is the new normal.

I thought he was the guy to give it to Trump?
