Here's my contention lately with Trump, bearing in mind I tend to grant him far more grace than most. Iran, Israel, Epstein. Lately, he might as well be a neocon with a lighter foreign policy. Heck lets toss on Ukraine at this point. Not even Tariffs are on my contention list. His greatest feature to me that might have had me holding him up was he was taking the football away from the neocons. To have him give the football back through Israel is betrayal.

He should be having a great week given some recent wins and this being one year since his dodging a bullet, but his base is fracturing or at least wavering. If this divide isn't bridged he will wish he was shot as everything crumbles around him. Shaming dissenters will merely have them leave and then any legacy cementing force that would be carried by MAGA following this final term, will fizzle out and find a different movement. Vance might not even be enough to carry it forward. He's got to stop treating every supporter of his as a sycophant who rolls over when he says so. His feet should be held to the fire.

No i do not believe it is Operation Trust or whatever because if it was then why are there so many researchers and ppl seeking truth. This implies there is an omnipotent component to Trump's administration when indeed the opposite has been proven - he's not a god he's a man and so too is everyone he surrounds himself with.

Question is did Trump make a deal to be put back to sleep, like Cypher, or did Agent Smith defeat him in one on one combat to turn him into another Agent Smith? The only implication here is did he go down fighting or did he give up?

The forces of good and evil are always in play, with or without Trump. With or without MAGA. It's the eternal struggle. Hellfire could rain from the sky and the nation completely destroyed and scattered and Good would still prevail over evil. In my lifetime or another.

People are inherently afraid of two things. Loud noises and the unknown. Right now we are all living with the unknown and perhaps spook more readily. Things aren't so predictable. If we're looking for comfort on that front than it would perhaps be wiser to move that realm away from politics. In hard times we will need something to fight off nihilism.

This late in the game we have no choice but to wait and see. It could get better or it could get worse. That coin is always in the air.

"God save the King" is historically a statement of loyalty. Though every time I hear it I am convinced it is a prayer. Instead of fealty being devoted to the king, it was more to ask God that he make the King Good, to soften his heart that he see with a righteous vision in glory to the Lord; That he do no evil.

@d01tg0d0wn I’ll admit I was on the “it’s all coming down” train in 2020 and when that didn’t happen I sort of petered out. I’m not blackpilled but I don’t think being red pilled really helps all that much at the end of the day. Being a contrarian whether right or wrong still affects personal relationships and if I could go back, there’s a few people I would have just smiled and shrugged my shoulders with rather than try to truth bomb. I’d have prioritized my friendship over being right. Frankly if I could take the blue pill and go back to being an oblivious normie, I would. I don’t like being angry all the time.

Watch as taxes become less and less and people return to what once was. It will be slow at first but it will pick up in speed.

@RightOfSask and yet his citizens pay income tax, property tax, other taxes and then there is corporate tax. Corporations wont pay tax because they have made the system to work for them. What will happen when Milei is gone? It works for now sort of not really but isnt a good system for freedom in the long run. The people need to own their property, they need to be free from punitive taxes. A tariff based system solves this issue in my opinion. I am not alone in this belief and the USA will prove this in the near future.

You really think that tariffs will replace taxes? The tariffs would have to be so high to make up in revenue, that nobody would even import things, thus no tariffs would be collected. And then you're back to square one, which means income and property tax.

Yes ending the fed would be nice, but I don't see it happening because it's run by and benefits a certain group of people with a fondness for beanies and ritual circumcision. Unfortunately I think it will take a monetary collapse and reset of the system, and that is where the real danger will be.

And again, they won't. Tariffs will have to be so high, that nobody will import goods because of them. If nobody imports, no tariffs collected.

In 2024 the US imported goods for about $4.1 trillion USD. Collected federal income tax in 2024 was about $2.4 trillion, another $1.1 trillion in state income taxes and $800 billion in property taxes. You would have to tariff every import at 100% without importing less and that is a pipedream.
 
@RightOfSask it is happening. It has to corporations pay no tax or very little. Tariffs are the great equalizer. If USA or tarriff nation doesnt tax citizens they have more buying power and money to spend. Cost of energy in USA will be so low that most stuff will be made in the country itself anyways. This creates jobs, innovation, higher educated more skilled workers, garantees a ppl system. System will work and limit most importantly government. No more crazy government spending. No more waste. No more or very little coruption.

there will be a sales tax but not much more

look at the economics pre central banks and the federal reserve

it makes sense and it worked

Washington does not tax income but does tax capital gains of certain high earners

@d01tg0d0wn remember a few years ago when the IRS recruited some 90,000 new agents with a massive recruiting drive. I think a good point to bolster your argument is that is being directly dismantled in the very next administration.
I seem to remember that the interview questions were leaked and there was a great emphasis on whether or not these new agents would be willing to confront and shoot Americans. I also remember there were training videos released of them doing training of breaching homes. To me it seemed like they were getting ready to mess with the average commoner. I also remember just prior to that they announced they wanted to start getting info on any bank transaction that exceeded $500 or something like that.

Actually now that I’m thinking about this all, it really does seem like the everyday American dodged a bullet that they may not even realized was fired

If it had been me, once I took office of Jan 20, 2025. The very first thing I would do is ask WTF happened? It would be my #1 priority. Not making sure Israel gets $4.3 Billion.
