The department establishes regulations regarding security screening procedures for flights originating in Canada. It is aware of yesterday’s announcement by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that it will be lifting its “shoes-off” policy, says Hicham Ayoun, senior communications advisor Transport Canada’s media services.
