The Edgewater Ostrich Cull will proceed

DripDrop

Big frenly fren. Much wow!
Check out these "death penalty" explanations from the judge:
The family that owns Universal Ostrich Farm in Edgewood in southeastern B.C. has said the birds should be saved because they have developed herd immunity and could contribute to the fight against avian flu.
The owners of the farm say the birds that survived the flu have recovered and are happy and healthy.

...the court can’t consider evidence that wasn’t available to it when those decisions were made.
He said the court “would be faulting decision-makers for lacking a crystal ball.”
“This court cannot consider ‘new’ evidence, such as the current health status of the ostriches, recent test results or updated scientific developments,” the ruling says.
Imagine using that reasoning towards a human wrongfully convicted and awaiting death.

The owner should recruit a herd of cassowaries to defend the ostriches, just as kings used to hire foreign mercenaries to defend their realms

Next time they’ll order your pets to be culled like China did during the China flu scam. Which will then be followed by humans going into gulags for their own health and safety.

Round and round we go.

After all this time, the birds are still alive, so doesn’t that mean they’re healthy and fine now? It feels like they're saying you should’ve done what we told you and you’re still going to pay for it.

Who wants to bet that any participants will have their bank accounts frozen?
...the Regional District of Central Kootenay says it has received an operational certificate from the provincial Environment Ministry for its landfill in Castlegar, B.C., to handle the disposal of the avian influenza infected waste, if the culling of the ostriches occurs. Regional District of Central Kootenay spokesman Dan Elliott says they received the landfill certificate to possibly handle the dead ostriches in January, adding the district has not received any information on when a possible cull would happen.

“In response to the need to manage avian influenza disease, the Regional District of Central Kootenay has received an operational certificate from the provincial Ministry of Environment and Parks to handle the disposal of the avian influenza infected waste if the culling of the ostriches goes ahead,” Elliott says.

B.C. Premier David Eby says the province has been frustrated by the actions of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, and while they understand the need to contain the avian flu, there’s a lack of ability to evaluate on a case-by-case basis.

“I hope the federal government looks very carefully at appropriate compensation to ensure they’re made whole, and not that that can fill in for the massive loss that they’ve seen,” Eby said at news conference on a separate event.

The Federal Court ruling said the family could be compensated to a maximum of $3,000 for each bird.

"Their only problem is the Government let diseased birds fly in here"
MLA Dipshit over here.

Like the government controls the birds? They do however control the faulty and fraudulent PCR testing program.

This is just a continuation of Covid nonsense in other industries. The outright denial and assault on real science.

Natural immunity DOES EXIST. Killing them after the fact is both ridiculous and sinister. These birds would contain antibodies that would be passed onto the next generation. Killing them would prevent that, which seems to be the goal here.

It's also being done to prove a point. The Government knows best and has absolute authority over everything. It shall not be challenged.

A Japanese researcher has even confirmed that the eggs contain antibodies but alas the pharma captured judge would rather help his creditors.

Of the rebel crew she was deemed most likely best ostrich wrangler only because Menzies was nursing a bum knee from a staged scuffle with authorities.
