European Union To Ban Anonymous Crypto & Privacy Tokens By 2027

One of the best things about cryptocurrency is that it isn't supposed to be controlled by governments or financial institutions. Privacy is also one of the main points in the original Bitcoin paper.

Legacy finance is almost as useless as legacy media.

And just like legacy media they are in deep with the gatekeepers.

Fortunately, a crypto currency is more than merely a 'currency'. It is a network that can send and receive on-chain currency without a bank for a middle man. This is the true value of crypto, not some speculative get rich quick stuff like the countless memecoins, (which borrow the blockchain of a larger crypto)

As banking is merely a leger so too is crypto merely a leger. Only Banks are legers than can reverse transactions and even freeze activity on the account. Crypto removes a gatekeeper's complete control to do this.

Even if a local government cracks down on exchanges, for example, they can only do so within their own realm of control. Take Binance for example, one of the largest if not the largest exchange on the planet; Ontario won't let Binance operate locally over FINTRAC shenanigans but Binance is still making billions outside of Canada just fine, and legally too.
