A recent Postmedia-Leger poll last week found that the Liberals are hanging onto the lead in the federal election with 43 per cent of support nationally, five points ahead of the Conservatives who are at 38 per cent support.

But the sports betting site FanDuel, which only operates in Ontario and carries odds for political events, says that 70 per cent of the bets placed on the winner of the federal election are on the Conservative party, with only 28 per cent of bettors wagering on the Liberals. The company says that more than 80 per cent of the bets on the Conservatives were placed after March 25, when the election was underway and the Liberals were pulling away as favourites.
cash says polls are wrong. so does rally enthusiasm.

I would be shocked if it isn't a Liberal majority.

This country is beyond fucked and filled with braindead morons for the most part.

It seems like they have a lot invested in this Mark Carney push. Liberals pulled out all the stops and as much as I hate it, they played pp like a fiddle. They cut out Pierre's tounge with the prorogue of parliament then stole his platform. Out in the wild on radio, you only see Mark Carney ads and clips while pp is listed with Jugmeat Singh and other candidates. Add in the Trump tarrifs and the fact that Carney is already pm, I can see people being fine with him staying on.

@Berniers_Bro If Carney gets more than 35%, it was a masterclass. Even then, the current deception, protection, and gaslighting is making everyone question if the liberals are going to win or not, and that's after the worse decade in canadian politics in at least a century.
Game respect game, as the youngin's would say.
