Not diverse enough, I want to see black trans woman Jesus depicted on the cross. In a wheelchair.
 
Do people actually go to this "church"? This sounds like a stuff straight out of a Portlandia episode. I can't imagine people going there and be like "yeah, this is completely sane".
 
Not really, no. Most of the individual united churches are dead around us. One closed recently and the other three all share a female pastor and everyone rotates between the churches each Sunday. The United church owns all the property and won't let them go.
We actually went to a United Church growing up but we left when they took our pastor away and sent an African woman in his place.
Paul clearly states in the bible that women aren't to be the head of the church. That doesn't mean they aren't valued and can't serve, you just can't be the minister or pastor.
