Can we get verified badges for special people

Like some sort of equivalent to Twitter's "blue check mark"?

We were going to tweak the settings for the definitions of who is a 'new member', 'active member', and 'well-known member'.

Right now, 'well-known member' is a fairly useless label, because after a few popular thread posts and comments, a member with a few day old account would be called 'well-known'.
 
Yes, it's for online personalities who have been verified as real by the administrators.
 
Okay, yeah, adjusting our parameters for "well-known" member status should achieve that goal.
