At this time of year, smoke from Canadian wildfires usually pours into the US, exposing tens of millions of Americans to dangerous air quality.

The recurring cross-border pollution is Canada's repeated failure to address wildfire prevention and mitigation adequately.
It should be investigated whether arson or inadequate forest management has contributed to the wildfire chaos in Canada, which is imposing major health risks on the US. Much of the left-wing media points to climate change, while rarely covering forest management failures.

I hear the Big Smoke is currently pretty smokey. Just like my back yard. Is Canada failing at forest management, or is such a thing impossible given the size and inaccessibility of the boreal?

The simple fact is this shit wasn't happening 10 years ago not at this scale. So they fucked something up over the last 10 years. I'm guessing that's the liberal government.

Retarded will say it's climate change but that's completely false because if it was we would be breaking temperature records because you need heat to start fire. So we should be breaking heat index records everyday.
 
The forests here will never be managed properly with the current mentality. The policies are “leave it be” when a tree dies. Just gives more breeding ground for invasive species killing them. The irony. A dead pine tree is basically an open gas can. You’ve also got extremely careless campers and arsonists walking freely. A perfect combo.
 
The boreal forest has a size of over 3.1 million square kilometres. A third of the US. You will never be able to manage this forest properly.
 
The way to manage it properly is to just let it burn, except when it endangers towns, like it has for thousands of years. Thinking you can pay taxes to stop all forest fires is like thinking you can pay taxes to change the weather.
 
They spray us night and day with cancerous heavy metals, so much so that a single idiot or paid criminal can ‘lose a cigarette’ and cause misery to millions. This wasn’t happening ten years ago. This is a recent phenomenon, brought on my geoengineering (“climate change”)
 
Why aren't the injuns doing something about it? Shouldn't they be using their incredible Stewards Of Nature™ powers to stop this from happening?
 
Well, don't let them walk near the fire with all the alcohol on their breath. They're pretty much walking human flamethrowers when they're near fire.

The government doesn't need to manage forests and forest fires. I guarantee any management by government will make it worse.

The way you stop forest fires is you ban non-White tourists from visiting your country, especially Blacks, Chinese and Indians. It would help if we get them out of the country.

I live in an area that gets tons of fires and there's a significant correlation between the quantity of tourists (how full the hotels are) and the number of fires. It's tourists causing the fires.
