Two days after, Edmonton police issued a warning regarding alleged sexual assaults in south Edmonton, a man has been taken into custody.


The warning came as EPS says they are actively investigating two alleged sexual assaults that happened on April 22, and a third that happened on April 27 in the Charlesworth neighbourhood.


All three incidents are believed to be connected, and police say that women who are walking alone along footpaths are being targeted.


On Wednesday, police took 28-year-old Harpreet Singh into custody in connection to the investigation.


Singh has since been charged with three counts of sexual assault.
