A little rundown of who and what

Donald Tusk is the pro-EU Prime Minister of Poland, Total Russian Death, globohomo stooge
Nawrocki is the recently-elected right-wing president, EU skeptic, supports Ukraine but not support Ukraine over all, semi-populist

The president has less power than the Prime Minister, but critically has the power to veto legislation

When Nawrocki was elected Tusk made some noises about investigating the vote and blah blah blah, he quickly backed down

The Constitutional Tribunal is somewhat like the US Supreme Court, with some expanded powers. It rules on constitutional complaints (don't have to wait for lower courts to review first, like in the US, if the Tribunal agrees to review a complaint made to it), but it can also review the constitutionality of laws on its own, review the actions of the government and political parties for compliance with the constitution on its own, etc. Poland also has a Supreme Court with some of the same review powers

There has been politisperging over nominations to the Tribunal for 10+ years now. The lower house of the national legislature votes on nominees. There are qualifications for nomination. Tusk recently nominated someone to be a judge on the Tribunal who did not meet those qualifications, he said idgaf, the lower house voted to approve the nominee. Nawrocki and the right-wing opposition has obviously strenuously objected to this. Tusk says the Tribunal is not-so-secretly controlled by the opposition (the PiS party) and something's gotta be done about that to save sacred Polish democracy or whatever. When the PiS held the Prime Minister's office, the Tribunal was accused by the left and the EU of rubberstamping right-wing activities that threatened sacred Polish democracy or whatever

Nawrocki has refused to take the oaths of Tusk-nominated judges because of the claims of lack of qualification and other politispergy reasons. Nawrocki says that they are not legitimate members of the Tribunal until and unless he takes their oaths. Tusk says wtf that's illegal. Nawrocki says no u. Nawrocki flew out of the country on a state visit to Senegal. Tusk then ordered the police to go to the Tribunal building, take control of it, seize records, etc., and also ordered the suspension of the chief judge of the Tribunal. Nawrocki turned his plane around and is now on his way back to Warsaw

Statement of the President of the Republic of Poland Karol Nawrocki

This night, a violation of the constitutional order of the Republic of Poland occurred, along with the forcible takeover of a constitutional state organ. I have held consultations with the First President of the Supreme Court, Zbigniew Kapiński, who also does not recognize as legal the actions taken by individuals usurping power in the Constitutional Tribunal.

I call for the restoration of legal order and the departure from the Tribunal premises by the enforcement forces dispatched to the site by the government.

To the Constitutional Tribunal, I have enabled the entry of the legally serving Vice-President of the Constitutional Tribunal, Judge Bartłomiej Sochański. In connection with the threat to the internal security of the Republic of Poland, I am convening urgent consultations today with the participation of representatives of parliamentary forces in order to achieve stabilization of the political situation and restoration of the constitutional order.

I thank all those who are at the Constitutional Tribunal, standing in defense of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland.

Leftist EU cuck coup failed
 
The EU won this round. The right-wing refuses to use their power at all to do anything about this. The left proved how weak the right is in Poland. The EU will strike again. Expect politicians like this Koral Nawrocki to end up in prison like Bolsonaro. We have ample evidence of this again and again in history. Weak right-wing governments eventually fall to the left-wing. This Koral guy needs to find a 100 special ops soldiers on his side and have Tusk kidnapped, tried and then executed for treason. Also, all the police that supported Tusk as well, arrest all the officers and leaders involved then execute them.
