I hate describing these views as "progressive" because they aren't. They're decadent. Post-World War II anti-White Jewish Capitalism Ideals is a better descriptor.Hanson describes the counterrevolution as a pushback against five decades of progressive dominance across academia, media, administrative bureaucracies, and cultural institutions
From an observation given how jewish Trump's second term was is that Trump realized how dominant jewish power was in Washington and "made a deal with the devil" so-to-speak. This is why Iran became such a key part of his first term and why he's seemed like a lapdog for Netanyahu at times. Trump secured the Zionist Jews support in order to push other parts of his agenda and actually accomplish things (somewhat) compared to his first term. Trump is winning on immigration and helping to bring about an anti-woke movement in the USA. Still, the USA cannot be fixed until jews are removed from all positions of power and authority, permanently. So, Trump's effectiveness will always be meh, in the end.During his first administration, Trump encountered entrenched opposition from both parties and appointed officials who viewed themselves as gatekeepers [04:04]. Hanson argues that the subsequent years led to a revamped strategy focused on staffing loyal personnel and targeting the root funding and regulatory mechanisms of institutional power
All versions of Civil Rights were ALWAYS decadent and nothing more than anti-White Jewish Oppression. The Civil Rights Act needs to be abolished. The right to discriminate and associate with whomever one wants is paramount to a healthy society.Hanson argues that traditional civil rights frameworks emphasizing character over color were replaced by a modern Marxist oppressor/oppressed binary, creating widespread DEI apparatuses across institutions
Makes sense. With universal suffrage democracy, it becomes hard to unify around race as you may lack the votes. This is one of the reasons why universal suffrage democracy is doomed to destroy all societies that implement it and then bring in a diverse mix of immigrants. The solutions to the problems in the society become impossible to achieve. These half-measures such as race neutral unification of the middle-class against the managerial class will fail in the end because even if the middle-class wins, the problems cannot be solved until the racial issues are tackled. The realities of race cannot be ignored if we wish to ever fix the problems in society.Rather than defining identity along racial lines, Hanson contends the populist movement seeks solidarity around the middle class—uniting tradespeople, small-business owners, and blue-collar workers regardless of racial background against coastal managerial elites
This feat of the USA should not be understated. Every other Western country except a few has less global share of GDP than 20 years ago. The fact the USA was able to maintain the same share of global GDP is testament to its strong competency of its people.Hanson highlights that the United States maintains roughly the same share of global GDP as it did decades ago, while outpacing competitors in digital platforms, space launches, and advanced technologies
Iran's government is no friend of the West or of their own people. Islam is a plague. The Persian people are actually fairly good people but Islam is oppressive to them. If the USA can somehow free Iran of their Islamic oppressors then the country will be much better off.Hanson supports neutralizing Iran’s missile networks and regional proxy infrastructure (such as Hamas and Hezbollah)
All government money spent on education should be eliminated. All debt supports from the government should be eliminated. Costs are inflated because of government subsidies. Without the government involved, the price of education will be the price it ought to be. If it's too high then less people get an education and that's a good thing. If companies need more educated people then they will need to come up with a way themselves (pay for education and training of their own employees). Immigration must be banned or sharply limited so corporations don't get the idea of replacing the domestic population with foreigners. Capital controls need to be put in place to prevent off-shoring of work as well.Hanson criticizes contemporary university models for charging exorbitant tuition, fostering ideological orthodoxy, and postponing practical milestones like family formation and homeownership
Many people look down on this middle-class lifestyle. It's mundane. Living for no purpose. No innovation, no drive, no adventure, no desire to improve. It's wake-up, go to work, come home, cook dinner, go to kids sports game, go for a walk, go to bed, rinse, repeat. It's a fine lifestyle for a cow on a ranch.Hanson and Papola discuss how elite culture often looks down on self-reliant middle-class lifestyles, characterized by homeownership, mechanical aptitude, outdoor recreation, and community ties
