What's so funny about this is the evidence they are using is not actually evidence. It's the equivalent of taking a twitter post by a no name account, which may have donated to some controversial streamer, being used to accuse that streamer of being a paid up agent.

I'm well read and one of the subjects I'm well read on is history. One of the most entertaining things about history is reading about democracy. In every single democracy that's now history, the historians all talk about how rigged the democracy was. You'll read about how the 8 richest families really controlled the whole democracy and it was a sham, etc... yet, every single modern democracy is fair. I find that fascinating. Every democracy in history was rigged but every modern democracy is fair. Come on guys, how retarded is everyone? Don't answer that.

All democracies are rigged. democracy is actually one of the worst forms of government if not the worst. Actually, I'll double down on it: universal suffrage democracy is literally the worst form of government. Restricted suffrage democracy has merit. Monarchy is not good but it's not bad. It's better than universal suffrage democracy. The biggest issue with universal suffrage democracy is that the end result typically ends up being whatever the rich and powerful elite in society want; which is how all governments go BUT with a universal suffrage democracy, the peasants seek to think they have power and they accept the result rather then condemn the corrupt elite. So, here with are with a rigged democracy that only benefits the corrupt elite and I, a peasant, can't even find common ground with other peasants for how atrociously run our society is because my fellow peasant thinks he picked the government so it's actually a good thing. I have to have it to the elite; what a wonderfully diabolical system universal suffrage is but it's honestly, the worst form of government.

I'd say a restricted suffrage consitutional Republic with a mechanism for a dictator to take charge is the best form of government. The Romans really did have the right idea in that regard.

Japan, Italy and Iceland are examples of countries that had democracies that failed after ancient times (Greece/Rome) but before the current modern era. Then of course you've got Greece and Rome (the famous examples).
