Many manufacturers have been looking for an excuse to move manufacturing out of Canada because Canada is way too expensive to do business. Tariffs are the extra little push many needed to finally pull the plug on Canadian manufacturing.
 
It's kind of crazy. Technically you're getting Canadian labor. cheaper if you sell your product in US and get paid in US dollar for your product. But Canada regulations are so bad doesn't even matter anymore.
