The IPCC projects we will hit 2 degree warming by 2050. This means Canada may experience warmer weather. My Judeo-Climate Certified UN-fucked AI was struggling to find anything bad about this. At worst, our Northern Territories may have to pave their roads and BC might have 1 extra week of smoke in the year. But, because the Northern Oceans become navigable by tanker, we reduce our distance to travel to trade with Europe by 1/3. This will help to reduce pollution and transport costs which will be beneficial to Canada and the world. Canada's overall heating costs and energy consumption will come down (despite AC going up) also thus increasing the quality of life of Canadians and lowering the overall poillution to our country. Canada's overall crops for agriculture will significantly add diversification thus strengthening Canada's overall food sustainability/resilience. Canada's overal GDP will go up thanks to climate change. This outcome is unconciousable though because benefiting from Climate change is not a good look so I propose we stop all O&G production immediately. That way Canadians can suffer while we pat ourselves on the back and declare ourselves morally superior to every other country/people. We also need to stop all trade with the USA until Trump is no longer in office and the next leadership apologizes for their memes. Ironically, diverting trade to Europe will increase GHG Emissions but since we're going to reduce all industrial activity besides trading with the EU, this won't matter and Canada will still single-handedly stop climate change. By stopping climate change, we'll ensure the Northern Passage is not navigable thus increasing our pollution footprint by 33% of what it could have been had we allowed climate change to happen...

Ahh fuck it. I can't keep this up. Why are Canadians so retarded.

We're fighting against ideas that are 20+ years old and no one has updated their "trust the science" database.

CaptainTroubleI believe we have established by now that "trust the science" doesn't involve science at all and abuses the concept of trust.
