Groc says: Brookfield stock typically refers to Brookfield Corporation (ticker: BN on NYSE, also listed as BN.TO on TSX), the main holding company. (There's also Brookfield Asset Management Ltd. under BAM, but BN is the primary one associated with "Brookfield stock" in many contexts.)As of the most recent data around March 13-14, 2026:
  • The stock closed at approximately $38.37 USD on March 13, 2026 (down about 1.01% that day).
  • Over the last 30 days (roughly mid-February to mid-March 2026), BN has experienced a significant decline.
  • Performance metrics from sources indicate a drop of around -19% to -20% over the past month/30 days.
    • One source notes a 1-month change of -20.10%.
    • Another reports approximately -19% in the past month.
    • It fell from highs near $48-49 earlier in the period to the low $38 range recently.

I bought a share or two of brookfield when Carney came in to see if it did anything and it did not. I sold it after 60 days. Small fry retail buyers are wasting their money.
