If you read further into the comments it is mentioned that many cities and municipalities use those machines. I only had a theory, a belief that those machines were used in local elections. It makes sense why our elected city and municipal officials don't do single thing that actually benefits the people they claim to represent. They are controlled by whomever installed them, just like the higher levels of government.

A big delusion of the PP-Cons is their inability to understand just how liberal Canadians in general are. There is no "MAGA-like" movement in Canada because at most 20% of Canadians would support it, at most. Canadians are their own worst enemies when it comes to improving Canada. And the number of liberal voters are only going to go up in time too.
 
You mean Canadians are just stupid and brainwashed just like the rest of the Anglosphere.

The USA is the only outlier, and only because they fought for their independence. Of course, many if not most of them are also stupid and brainwashed.
