As a Catholic, this is just a friendly reminder that the Pope, bishops and everyone (with the exception of Jesus and Mary ofc) is imperfect, thus prone to human error and flaws. However, the fundamental Truth that the Catholic church is founded upon will always remain unchanged, and as much as people (clergy or lay people) try to distort, dilute or destroy it, it will remain as it was/is, as God Himself has established and revealed it - we cannot change the objective Truth, although people will always try to shy away from it and ignore it.
Point being, the errors and moments of ambiguity amongst figures of authority, even in the Catholic Church, do not mean that the Catholic faith itself is flawed. Yes things like Vatican II and questionable actions by leaders (eg. the Pachamama situation) have caused chaos and division amongst the faithful, but when you simply look at the actual dogmas/teachings, plus the biblical and scientific evidence to support it, it is clear that Catholicism is the only legit religion. There was a Judas amongst Jesus' first disciples, just as there are many Judases now. It doesn't change what Jesus taught or expects of us, and it doesn't change the fact that Catholicism offers the only appropriate form of worship that God accepts (the Mass, and also the Sacraments).
