Surely there are easier ways to earn beer money
 
I was surprised how "meh" Aussie beer was the two times I was in Sydney. Victoria Bitter and Carleton were decent enough I suppose.
 
I thought the same thing about most of the beers I had in the UK last year. One dark ale I ordered in Yorkshire tasted like the stuff I used to brew under my sink. That said, a couple of brands were good, but even those weren't available everywhere. I wonder if I ever returned to Bavaria after 25 years if I'd find even their world-class beer had gone to shit as well
